WHERE DID YOU SEE GOD TODAY? PART 2

Bible Verse: “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” Romans 1:20, NIV

Scripture Reading: Genesis 1:1-31

I have to admit, I am not the typical outdoor nature-type person who can spend all day in the wilderness.

However, over the years, I have begun to appreciate the outdoors because of God’s creation. I’m more and more amazed at how easy it is to see God revealing himself and his invisible attributes to us through his creation, when we stop for a second and look.

For some, I understand the idea of God creating the universe might be foreign to you, but I trust God created it all because he tells us this in the Bible. If you aren’t satisfied with “The Bible” being the answer, then I encourage you to look deeper into this. Even the science of fine-tuning makes a very strong case that this universe was not an accident.

If you live in Canada, you have the unique, first-hand view of God’s creation through the oceans that surround our country, to the mountains throughout our provinces, and the billions and billions of trees from coast to coast. God is on display everywhere we look. We just need to stop for a second to see him revealing himself.

We have this privilege to see God every time we step outside. So, I encourage you to stop for a moment today and focus on one thing God has created around you: the sun, the sky, the lakes or the trees, as he reveals himself through his works.

As you do this, understand that powerful God is the one who wants you to know him, see him, and have a relationship with him.
