ALL THINGS NEW – INTRODUCTION

Bible Verse:  “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:4-5, NKJV

Scripture Reading: Psalm 37:1-40

What did you dream of doing or being when you were a kid? I believe every man can remember the answer to that question without thinking too long and hard about it. Unfortunately, as we grow older, we often get a dose of reality, and we push those dreams, passions and goals aside. We are told we need to grow up, and apparently, the hidden message in that life advice was to stop dreaming.

One of the sadder truths I have discovered in men who have life figured out is they no longer have dreams and goals in life. It’s almost like they have just settled into a comfort zone along the way after they get married, kids and a stable job. They say they are content, but are they? Are you?

This week we are going to tap into Psalm 37 to help direct you for the rest of the year as we encourage you to dream a little.
